And on the move again

Je commençais a me réhabituer aux petits détails… l’eau froid dans la douche le matin, ou brûlante le soir quand le bidon d’eau a chauffe toute la journée au soleil. Les gens qui installent leur mariage dans la rue, aux croisements de préférence… comme ça ils créent 4 impasses ! une chaleur constante, bien que maintenant il commence a faire plus frais la nuit … genre 25/30 degrés. Ce qui parait irréaliste quand il neige en France déjà.

Bref : je pars a Nairobi pour un projet d’approvisionnement du soudan par le kenya.
Puis 1 semaine a Bentiu, sud soudan… si j’ai de la chance, et un avion, j’éviterai les 2 jours de bagnole.
Et puis mon premier trip dans le darfour. Pour la clôture de novembre.
Et ensuite…. Des vacances bien méritées. Au soleil de zanzibar. Tanzanie. Plage, soleil, cocktails… rien foutre.

Tout ça pour rentrer pour Noël ! On va acheter un ficus ou un sapin en plastique… on verra ce qu’on trouve !

I was starting to get used again to Sudan… the little details. The cold water in the shower in the morning, hot at night when the water reservoir stayed in the sun. People getting married in the street… at a cross of course… creating 4 cul de sac! The heat… although getting better, it is only 25 to 30 Celsius degrees at night now. When I think some of you have snow !!!

Anyway: departure for Nairobi tonight… for a supply chain through Kenya, for sudan. We ll try to implement that.
Then 1 week in the south, bentiu… if I am luck, I ll have a plane, if not 2 days in a car !
My first trip to darfur for the accounting closing of November.
And then… vacations in Zanzibar, sun, beach, cocktails!

All that to come back to celebrate Xmas in Khartoum… we ll buy a ficus, or maybe a plastic Xmas tree… we ll see what we find.
